Texture Pack Summary

The Cute Craft resource pack by Some Game Studio is a brand new addition to the Minecraft Marketplace that aims to turn your world into a place of ultra adorableness. For 990 Minecoins, this pack promises to fill your adventures with charming details and lovable creatures. I was really excited to jump into this Minecraft Bedrock review because the marketplace has been a bit heavy on texture packs lately, and I wanted to see if this one could truly capture that perfect cute aesthetic.

From the second I loaded in, the world felt incredibly soft and friendly. The pack uses a very clean and simple art style that reminds me of a cartoon world where everything is happy. One of the massive highlights for me was the mob designs, especially the Warden which has been transformed into a giant, huggable teddy bear. The passive mobs are also a total surprise with unique and sweet looks that make the overworld feel very different from the standard game. While the UI is quite basic, the overall polish of the textures makes the gameplay feel smooth and consistent.

As I explored further, I noticed that the pack manages to stay very faithful to the original game while still making everything look much cuter. The colours are bright and cheerful, and the environmental storytelling works well to keep you immersed in this new adorable world. I did feel that some of the block variations were a little bit simple in places, but the effort put into the custom entity models really carries the experience. Overall, this is a very strong 8 out of 10 pack that younger players or anyone who loves a soft aesthetic will really enjoy.

Pros

  • Adorable teddy bear Warden: Turning the scariest mob in the game into a giant 3D teddy bear is a genius and creative design choice.
  • Consistent cute aesthetic: The pack does an amazing job of making sure every block and item fits the theme of being ultra adorable.
  • Polished character models: The custom looks for the animals and monsters are high quality and add a lot of personality to the Minecraft Marketplace.
  • Vibrant and happy colours: The bright colour palette makes the world feel much more inviting and fun to explore for long periods.
  • Faithful but fresh: It manages to keep the original feel of the game while completely changing the vibe to something much softer.

Cons

  • Higher price point: At 990 Minecoins, it is a bit more expensive than some other similar packs available on the Minecraft Bedrock store.
  • Simplistic UI design: The menus and interface are a bit plain and do not have as much custom detail as the actual world textures.
  • Basic block variations: Some of the environment blocks like dirt and stone could use a few more unique details to make them stand out.
  • Niche visual appeal: If you prefer realistic or gritty horror packs, the extreme cuteness of this pack might feel a bit overwhelming.
  • Limited inventory changes: While the items look good, some of the icons in the creative menu could be more distinct to help them stand out.
