Texture Pack Summary

The Circus Texture Pack by Bunny Studios is a wacky and colourful Minecraft Bedrock texture pack that aims to turn your world into a giant carnival. Rated 4.4 stars, at time of review, on the Minecraft Marketplace, this pack costs a very reasonable 490 Minecoins and promises special models and incredible colours to add fun to your gameplay. I was really looking forward to this one because it has such a unique theme compared to the usual realistic or horror packs I review on the channel.

As soon as I loaded into the world, I could tell this pack really knows its theme and sticks to it. The Iron Golem is absolutely hilarious with its mushroom hair and what looks like a dress, and the Pig looks like it is wearing a tiny clown outfit. The villagers have been turned into clowns with massive red noses and silly hats which makes exploring a village feel like you are wandering backstage at a big top show. Even the UI has a nice red and white striped circus feel that makes the menus pop with energy.

While the mob designs are a huge success, I did find that some parts of the world felt a bit bland. The trees and some of the weapons follow a copycat style that looks a bit too much like the standard game textures without enough circus flair. I also thought the Nether was a little bit empty and lacked the crazy details I saw in the overworld mobs. However, at such a low price point, it offers great value for money if you want a world that is intentionally wacky and non realistic. Overall, I am giving this a solid 8 out of 10 for being such a fun and unique experience.

Pros

  • Hilarious mob models: The Iron Golem and the clown villagers are incredibly creative and bring a lot of personality to the Minecraft Marketplace.
  • Excellent value for money: At only 490 Minecoins, this is one of the more affordable ways to completely retheme your Minecraft Bedrock world.
  • Strong theme consistency: The pack does a great job of making sure the circus aesthetic is present in the menus and the most common creatures.
  • Vibrant colour palette: The bright and bold colours used for the blocks and creatures make the game feel much more energetic and fun.
  • Unique character skins: The way the mobs have been given clown costumes and silly hats makes every encounter feel like a new surprise.

Cons

  • Bland weapon designs: Most of the tools and weapons feel a bit too close to the original game and do not have enough circus detail.
  • Repetitive tree textures: The trees do not look very different from the standard textures which feels like a missed opportunity for the theme.
  • Empty Nether world: The Nether feels quite plain compared to the overworld and could have used more wacky carnival decorations.
  • Inconsistent armour sets: Some of the armour pieces look a bit simple and do not feel as polished as the custom mob models.
  • Copycat textures: A few of the environment blocks look like they have just been slightly recoloured rather than being completely new designs.
