Meet The Creator: Float Studios
Currently with 28 creations in Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace, made up of Minecraft Bedrock Add Ons, Minecraft Bedrock Texture Packs and Minecraft Bedrock Cosmetics, Float Studios are growing in the Minecraft Marketplace. Joining the Minecraft Marketplace in 2022, with an average rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 across the Minecraft Marketplace. Daz Man managed to get some questions over to the Float Studios team, who very nicely answered them, so, lets go and Meet The Creator!

Daz Man Interviews Float Studios!
Q1: Can you tell us a bit about your journey into Minecraft and how you became a Marketplace creator?
We started as a core team back in 2013, with the formation of a creative build team called Sunfury Creative. This team of passionate creatives grew in the community, entering competitions, and creating small adventure maps in Java. A lot of members of Sunfury have actually gone onto become involved in the Marketplace working in a variety of different teams!
Taking a short break for a while, we reformed in 2018 where we started publishing our content under Razzleberries, while we were producing content under the Razzleberries name, we made a few update related worlds such as 'Way of the Bee', 'Way of the Nether' and 'Minecraft: Emerald Tycoon'!
In 2022, Float Studios became an official partner, and created 'The Backrooms', which we are best known for, since then we have been focusing on Add-Ons, and are very excited for some upcoming Add-Ons in the works!

Q2: What tools, software, or plugins do you rely on the most, and why?
We mainly use Visual Studio Code for all core development, along with many Java world building plugins and tools such as Amulet.
For modelling we use Blockbench as the one stop shop!

Q3: How do you balance creativity with the limitations and guidelines of the Minecraft Marketplace?
We wouldn't say there is a balance! Creativity is driven by limitations! This has always been the case with Minecraft, coming up with unique solutions to avoid limitations is what we love doing.
Q4: What’s your opinion on the current state of the Minecraft Marketplace, and how do you see it evolving over the next few years?
The Marketplace is currently in a very healthy state. There is a much greater focus on creating high end experiences and content, which is great for all!

Q5: What’s next for you? Any upcoming releases, ideas, or collaborations we should watch out for?
In the coming months we have a very exciting new Add-On that is using the new Jigsaw tech!
Its called Village Cities, and will generate full scale villager cities in your world, along with lots of management, factories and economy for players to sink their teeth into!
